Originally released in 2008, Above the Ground marked Burton Cummings’ triumphant return to the studio, featuring 19 tracks that showcase Cummings at his best. 

The album’s themes revolve around the meaning of life and thoughts on what growing older is like the track “Kurt’s Song” is a tribute to Cummings’s late The Guess Who bandmate Kurt Winter. For fans of The Guess Who and Cummings’ legendary solo work, Above the Ground is a must-have addition to any collection.

Reissued in 2024 as a special edition, this album is now available as a stunning translucent orange double vinyl.
